We're finished with summer camp and everyone's back to school around here (including our Adult art students)! We're taking a moment to look back on the last two weeks of camp and the hard work the campers put into their art at the end of summer.

Week 8: Get Crafty Camp

Ms. Karen led campers through a collection of fun multimedia crafts. They built houses, sewed cute bags, and made lots of art!

Week 8: Anime Camp

Ms. Ronit returned with another Anime camp, where the students got to explore anime and manga styles in their artwork and make up their own stories and characters. It looks like the class had some characters among the students, too!

Ms. Ronit will be back for Fall I to teach a weekly Anime class on Mondays!

Week 9 K-2 Drawing & Painting: Creepy Crawlies

Ms. Karen closed out the summer celebrating all the little creepy crawlies in the world! Campers did bug-themed artwork throughout the week, and particularly enjoyed making their bug houses!

Week 9: Mixed Media

Ms. Joanne closed out the camp season with a Mixed Media camp that explored collage work and a wide range of artistic media. As you can see, the students were very busy finding their unique voices within the projects! Ms. Joanne will return this fall with Amazing Art for students to continue exploring the wide world of art mediums.

Week 9: Online Video Production

We added a brand new subject this camp season with Mr. Greg's Online Video Production camp! Teens spent the week learning how to put together a variety of video styles for use on a YouTube channel. They practiced developing concepts, writing scripts, filming, and editing.

We're sad to say goodbye to our campers until next year, but we're excited for what the school year is bringing too! We have our After School Art Enrichment classes available now, and our Youth Fall I Session is currently enrolling.

Thank you to everyone who made our summer such a special one, and happy new school year!
