Summer Camp is almost over! It's hard to believe we only have one week left after this one.

Our campers continue putting together great work week after week, and the past two are no exception! Here are just a few of the pieces the campers decided to share with us.
Week 6: K-2 Drawing & Painting: Outer Space
For Week 6, our smallest campers took took to the stars to explore space, the final frontier. They had a wild time all week making aliens and starscapes, but one of their favorite projects was building a UFO complete with alien pilot!

Week 6: Sparkle Camp
All things sparkly returned in Week 6! So many of our Sparkle Campers showed up with sparkly accessories every morning and all of them left extra sparkly every afternoon. They made fun and creative works that glitter beautifully in the light.

Week 7: K-2 Drawing and Painting: Robots
Our youngest campers returned last week for the summer's second round of Robot Camp! Here they are showing off their little 3D robot friends they made. I love how much personality is in each robot!

They also made some adorable 2D robot friends!

Most importantly, these campers made real life friends throughout the week, and tons of great memories in addition to great art!

Week 7: Tiny Treasures
Tiny Treasures returned this week with adorable small creations out of polymer clay! Campers got creative with characters and creatures, styled themselves with polymer clay jewelry, and made beautiful landscape hearts.

Tiny Treasures is also one of our regular after school classes held at The Art Center during the year. We have seats available in our next class beginning on September 2nd!
Week 7 Teen Figure Drawing and Character Creation
More teens undertook the challenge of the figure drawing intensive camp this week! They worked hard on learning realistic figure drawing for the first half of the week. In the second half of the week they learned how to use the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to take realistic figures and stylize them into their own original characters. Most of the teens were a little shy about sharing their work on the blog, but Violet and Isabella wanted to share their awesome original characters!

Bonus Week 5: 3rd-5th Grade Wild West
We got some new photos in from weeks we've already covered, and our young artists want to share their work!

Bonus Week 2: K-2 Fairy Tale

I can't wait to see what our last two weeks of camp produce! We're so lucky to have so many creative campers joining us this summer, and we hope to see many of them back this Fall!
