Do you have a novel simmering in your mind, waiting to come to life? In this camp, you will explore several fundamental skills for effective creative writing. This isn’t a grammar lesson- we’ll be going into different brainstorming techniques, learning about character psychology and worldbuilding tools, and practicing techniques for writing descriptions and dialogues that make your story come to life. At the end of each camp day, you’ll get words down in your own novel draft as you engage in a writing battle with your teacher! Notebooks will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own devices if they prefer to write on computers.

Art Center Policy
1. The Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes or camps due to insufficient enrollment. If The Art Center cancels a class or camp, registrants will receive a refund. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor if necessary. 2. The Art Center does not pro-rate class or camp fees. 3. Membership fees are non-refundable. 4. Four business days notice must be given before the start of the first class if you wish to cancel. 5. Registration changes and cancellations will incur an administrative fee of $30. 6. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the 1st day of the start of class. 7. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the beginning of the class or camp. 8. Adult classes and workshops are open to adults 18 and older unless otherwise stated. 9. Children requiring a personal assistant or one-to-one (1:1) support must be accompanied by their direct support professional. 10. If a camper consistently disrupts the learning of other campers TAC reserves the right to remove the camper from the camp program. 11. BREAK TIME: Weather permitting, campers are provided with some outside time. If you do not want your child taken outside during the day, please inform their assigned camp instructor or contact TAC administration at 770-623-8448 12. DISMISSAL: Pick up of your child MUST be made by 3:15pm. Beginning at 3:16pm a $15 late fee will be charged to the account and an additional $1/minute thereafter. Please call TAC administration at 770-623-8448 if you will be late picking up your child.
