Wednesday Wanderings: A Train Ride and Plein Air at Southeastern Railway Museum
Held on a Thursday this month, our new Wednesday Wandering program offers a train ride and vintage trains to plein air. Pack a picnic and spend the afternoon with us as we explore the Southeastern Railway Museum!

About The Event
Take a field trip with The Art Center! Join us for a guided tour of the Southeastern Railway Museum, train ride included!
After we learn about the historic trains, we are invited to stay and do plein air studies of the train yards. Bring along a picnic lunch and your painting or drawing supplies and enjoy a unique plein air experience with us!
We will meet at the museum at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 16th. You are welcome to meet at The Art Center at 10am to carpool with fellow painters, (this should be arranged ahead of time). You must depart The Art Center no later than 10:10am to make it to the museum on time.
This is a scheduled group tour with the museum; pre-registration is required and will close on September 24th to meet the museum’s deadline for final group counts.
