Life Drawing: Animal Skulls Workshop

Service Description

Instructor Carman will have her collection of real skulls for you to observe and draw, including a grey fox, cow, raccoon, and chicken. After a quick demo of strategies for observational drawing, you will have the opportunity to draw at your leisure, either going for quick studies of many skulls or deep studies of a few. We'll end the session with a skull still life featuring directional light. Bring your favorite drawing materials for a relaxed day of life drawing. Toned paper is recommended (for adding highlights as well as shadows) but not required; I've done life drawing with watercolor before so just bring what's comfortable for you!

Cancellation Policy

1. The Art Center reserves the right to cancel camps, classes or workshops due to insufficient enrollment. If The Art Center cancels a camp, class or workshop registrants will receive a refund. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor if necessary. 2. Four business days notice must be given before the start of the first class if you wish to cancel. 3. Registration changes and cancellations will incur an administrative fee of $30. 4. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the 1st day of the start of class. 5. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the beginning of the class, camp or workshop.
