Service Description
In this drawing focused class taught by a professional illustrator, students learn techniques and tricks of the trade allowing them to create realistic and effective artwork. This is an ideal class for the young artist interested in learning storyboarding and effective illustration techniques. Students hone their observational skills strengthening the ability to communicate ideas and thoughts through drawings. The class will teach anatomy, dynamic poses, shading, scene creation, blocking and how to draw movement. They learn character creation and how to effectively integrate their characters into a convincing scenes. Students will explore rapid visualization techniques and learn to refine and edit their drawings. This drawing focused class teaches students the most effective methods for using ink, pens, markers and other related mediums. This is an ideal class for the more serious young artist interested in refining their drawing skills. Students will apply the skills learned in each class to develop a final inked project. This class is designed for youth students in grades 6-12. Includes all supplies.

Cancellation Policy
1. The Art Center reserves the right to cancel camps or classes due to insufficient enrollment. If The Art Center cancels a camp or class, registrants will receive a refund for all cancelled classes. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor if necessary. 2. The Art Center does not pro-rate class or camp fees. 4. Four business days notice must be given before the start of the first class if you wish to cancel. 5. Registration changes and cancellations will incur an administrative fee of $30. 6. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the 1st day of the start of class.
