Learn how to throw on the wheel to make fun and functional ceramic pieces! Teens will learn the techniques needed to create ceramic dishware as well as hand built clay sculptures. The pieces will be fired in a kiln and then students will learn different glazing and painting techniques to create truly unique ceramics. Art projects differ each week. Learn to write stand-up comedy from scratch! Students will learn methods to write jokes based on fun facts, news stories, and personal anecdotes. Students will receive tips and personally curated direction on how to establish audience connection, pace jokes, and present themselves for optimal reactions and relatability in stand-up comedy performance.
